Honey cake
"A delicious honey cake with coconut."
Ingredients:
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup white flour
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 teaspoons honey
- 2 teaspoons flaked coconut
Directions:
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup of the yogurt and baking soda and stir until the yogurt increase its volume and set aside.
- In a large bowl, blend together the flour, white sugar, the egg, cinnamon and the rest 1/2 cup of the yogurt and mix well.
- Add yogurt and baking soda mixture and mix well.
- Bake in the preheated oven to 180 degrees C for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Spread the hot cake with honey and sprinkle over the flaked coconut.
